Just curious, what has your experience been with signing players during the Amateur Draft with the following signability statement:

"Looking to be drafted in the first five rounds.  If not, he'll probably accept a scholarship to play DI college baseball?:"

The guy is going to be a solid #2, #3 SP but just wanted to know if it was worth the investment of drafting him #5 overall.

They'll sign if you draft them in the first round, but their demands will be above slot.

I always took that to mean in the first 5 rounds, as it says. Not the first 5 picks.
