Did Washington make the Carl Crawford offer to the wrong player?

Werth was overpaid but Crawford strikes me as a "me" guy.   If you're planning on a bunch of young players over the duration of the deal, Crawford ain't your guy.

what has crawford done that makes you think he's a "me" guy?  I heard that if the yankees lose out on Lee they'll go after crawford and trade swisher and/or gardner for another pitcher.  what do you think?

Something about SB/CS in meaningless situations.   Statpadding.     I don't think you're getting much of a pitcher for Swisher or Gardner.

He's Canadian.  They start collecting pics of men in fur early in life.

I'll exclude the National Championship.   Ohio State/Arkansas followed closely by Wisconsin/TCU.   The fatass midwesterners get a chance to prove they belong.  Arkansas can light up a scoreboard and allow the other team to do the same.  That should be a fun watch.   WI has been underrated all year.  Even by me.  TCU has been screaming "We're undefeated!!!  We're undefeated!!!" all year.   Both teams will have the spotlight so the world can see what they've got.    I also think Michigan State/Alabama will be good.   Alabama lost 3 games(all to top 20 teams).  Michigan State handed WI their only loss and got destroyed by Iowa(top 20 team).   Both of them are really good teams.   The fatass midwesterners had some pretty good teams this year.   All of them probably lose 4 if they were in the SEC but they aren't so they won the games they were supposed to win.   Now we get to see if they just beat up on weak sisters or if they have game.
