Why has this thread been dragged back out again? I set out to run off an obvious cheater and 15 months later, this thing still has legs and 57 pages. Who'd have ever guessed on that one?

Funniest part about all of that saga is that after compliling all of that info, I approached admin and told them the guy was running roughly 15-20 teams. Admin's response was that they saw no alias's in World Foxx. Got to love that.

It has resurfaced because nothing has really changed. Sometimes you can't save people from themselves.

Yeah, I occasionally glance in over there, hard not to after digging into that train wreck as much as I did. Let's be honest, I tried to tell you at the time that you were starting another entire **** storm over there.

You did. But for the most part it worked...but one person still holds a grudge over everything...and has a very unrealistic view of h how it all went down. But oh well. It is good to know that these worlds can't be fixed.

Haha.   Just read the last few pages of the chat.  ltbolt is insane.    There was never a threat to release players from me.    I did say "Either accept the dispersal draft that 30 owners accept and one hates or I'll do what I want."   That caused some friction between me, trop and thekid as they felt they had a controlling interest in what was done(each had send me a $10 GC in order for me to purchase the team and break it down).   Which they did but I didn't take kindly to the way they phrased it(thekid told me not to post my opinions in the chat and trop implied that I was "paid" to do a job).   Both should have known how stupid that was.  I made it a point to check HBD at 6 AM in order to get the team and forked out $4.95 of my money to disperse players and then give up the team.  And, as owner of the team, ruffling my feathers was a bad idea.  thekid demanded his money back(even though I was doing what was agreed upon).  I told him to hold his breath and send me another $10 if he wanted me to disperse players.  trop figured out arguing with me was going nowhere so he dropped it.

At the end of the day, all I wanted to do was rid the team of all the ill-gotten talent and give up the team.   But, with the greed of the owners(not really much different than bornlosers), it wasn't getting done.  So I got hostile, dropped some deadlines and action was taken.

Just out of morbid curiosity: Why haven't the majority of the owners in that world moved on? I couldn't even read through more than a few pages of the chat. Instead of wasting time, money, patience, etc, why not just go enjoy the f'n game in a wold that hasn't completely fallen apart? I suppose some folks just enjoy that kind of behavior....

I've never understood that either.    If you're not going to utilize the block feature even though the chat disturbs you, and you're obviously incapable of NOT reading it, why stick around?   If a world isn't fun, by whatever standards you choose, what's the purpose?

Also, both trop and ltbolt seem to recall a lot more ADMIN involvement than I do.   I know I never received anything from them nor do I recall a world chat post from them.   Nonetheless, that's one of the reasons I wouldn't have threatened to release all the players.   I did nothing against TOS, all I did was take a team, so there was no reason for them to bother with me.  But threatening to release players would have changed that.

yeah, I had a dialogue going with admin. They actually sent me a sitemail and told me to open a ticket so we could talk about it.

I'm not surprised they were involved behind the scenes but ltbolt seems to believe they posted in the world chat with dates and plan acceptance/rejection/consideration.   I don't remember any of that.

Damn!  I miss Foxx World.  A lot of revisionist history there in world chat.  IIRC, Trop and MikeT are on point with their recollections.   I can't believe ltbolt hasn't gotten over it THREE seasons later.

I don't recall the world chat postings either but I am getting old...

Over it? How am I supposed to get over it? For three seasons now everytime I post anything I'm attacked for days by Soxfan and Tropicana. Two days ago Tropicana claimed to be "in contact" with Bornlosers in order to brandish a threat towards a newer owner. So, I questioned how he was "in contact" with an owner that supposedly left WIS months ago. That of course, like everything else the last three seasons, was followed by Tropicana and Soxfan calling me every name in the book and trying to convince all the new owners that I'm actually Bornlosers despite the fact that i am actually the one who started the crusade to remove Bornlosers.

So, that is why I haven't let it go three seasons later, because this is the crap I've had to deal with since then.
