"Last, it's not a "classic" n00brape as both pitchers are cheap."

What does cheap have to do with n00brape?  It's not about cost, it's about quality.  Replacement value players for quality prospect is what n00brape is all about.

You keep saying "replacement value players" like you know what sort of pitching is in that world.     What team do you run?   If the answer is "no", I'll refer you to the following:
Second, if you're not in that world, you have no idea what's available at the end of FA or on the WW.
Fourth, I don't think you know the pitching situation on either team.

I guess it's possible that we have different definitions of "n00brape".    Trading two legit, cheap BL players for one prospect(and, if I had to I could argue "a goddam short relief pitcher prospect") isn't n00brape.   Neither pitcher is 37 nor are they making big money.

They aren't making money because they suck. Those guys are waiver wire type pitchers...

Since you're in that world, and a known raper of n00bs in Hamilton, I'll take your word for it.

Why don't you apply those same standards to your trades?    I know, and don't deny it, that you told me it's not your job to check the waiver wire or available FA for n00bs when you trade with them.

I 'm not trading waiver wire players. I may be trading high priced guys but they are legit good big leaguers.

And I don't check the waiver wire for anyone else. I just know what players I would personally expect to find there and wouldn't give up much to get.

My tecwrg2 ID has played in 50+ worlds as a mid-season replacement owner.  Typically one of the first things I do when I come in mid-season is check the FA pool to see if there are any FA's who are better than the crap I've inherited.  What I usually find is pretty consistent.  So yeah, I think I know what's typically available and what "replacement value players" are.  Probably a little better than you do.  This is a season 15 world.  Pretty good chance it's mature enough to have a pretty consistent level of talent to the other nearly 60 worlds I've participated in at one point of another.

And I'll say it again, because you apparently aren't getting my point: if booger is trading players A and B to a n00b for a pretty decent ML prospect, when the n00b could just as easily find players A' and B' in the FA pool for roughly the same price without surrendering a pretty decent ML prospect, then it's n00brape.  He's fleecing a good prospect out of the guy.

So the answer is "I don't have a team in this world nor have I checked to see what sort of pitching is available in this world but I'm not willing to admit I have no idea about the pitching in this particular world"?   OK, fair enough.

Sure, whatever.

Glad we could clear that up.

COWARD! TAKE REPLACEMENT TEAMS UNDER YOUR MAIN ID, LIKE REAL MEN!

If you're trying to say "BE LIKE ME!!", then . . . uh, no thanks.

I'd retort, but I'm busy tearing the lids off cans with my bare hands.

Typical canuck . . . doesn't know how to use the pull-tab.

I think that was an canuckian euphemism for "shorts" and "young men".
