Last season, Frank Hall and Alex Valdes won Gold Gloves at LF and 1B respectively.  Looking at their defensive stats, Valdes is better suited in LF and Hall at 1B.  Should I make the neccessary adjustments or should I keep them at their Gold Glove positions?

They are both "overqualified" defensively for their positions.  You're going to get great defensive stats out of them whether you play them at LF/1B or 1B/LF.

That said, I'd go with Valdes in LF and and Hall at 1B.

Would they be better suited anywhere else?  It seems they are overqualified at 1B and LF but underqualified everywhere else.

Because of their arms, that's about all they can do.   I prefer the range in LF.

Valdes could fill in at 2nd in a pinch if necessary ... but his bat doesn't really justify the defensive tradeoff. As it is, I think you got lucky with his rookie hitting stats (or maybe it was just playing in Durham) - I don't see him regularly sustaining an OPS of over 800. His offensive ratings are a bit underwhelming for a corner, especially for a 1B. OTOH, racking up 30 plus plays at any position is pretty nice. Still, he seems like the type of player that I drop as soon as he gets into arbitration territory.

Valdes is lefthanded.   Is that why I booted you from Coop?
