I can't seem to find the right spot for him- seems like good potential, but he's just getting rocked every outing...

Low control + low GB ratio means that he'll give up a lot of walks and HR, which will kill you in Hartford. 11 BB in 33 innings is not terrible (his career avg is higher), but his 11 HR allowed will do it.

For the season, he's given up 12 HR's in 36 IP's.  But only 3 have come in Hartford.

He's just not very good...  I'd expect mid 6's ERA pitching half his games in Hartford.
