Does the hitting or pitching ratings of a fielding coach have any influence over organizational development?  Also, does a pitcher's hitting rating (and vice-versa) have any developmental impact?

No, and no.

Is strategy only useful for bench coaches? 

I have heard that they do so I take that into consideration when hiring.  If two Bench coaches are their major attribute equal, say 90, and one has a higher pitching skill than the other and I need that 'added' on to my pitching coaches total, I hire him.

It isn't a major consideration over the main skill set I am hiring for, but I do check it out.  I typically slant secondary skills to pitching, and all of my teams are consistently in the top 5 in their worlds, if not the top slot.  Does it work?  I have no way of verifying it so who knows.

From help: "The fielding instructor is a roving coach that impacts player development at each level. Bench coaches at the minor league level play a role in all facets of player development. Pitching coaches and bullpen coaches impact pitcher ratings. Hitting coaches, 1B coaches and 3B coaches impact hitting and baserunning ratings." That would seem to say MiL BC's contribute to all round development. I am still wondering what a BL bench coach does for the millions most of them want. 

BL bench coach ratings would impact development at the BL level only. The help also says about strategy: "The higher the rating, the more likely he'll succeed as a bench coach." That makes it sound like the strategy attribute is a sort of multiplier for bench coaches. I would like to know if strategy has any impact for any other coach other than the bench coach.

What's more important for a fielding coach - patience or discipline?  The instructions say it influences "hitting the cutoff man", but other folks have suggested that this attribute really only impacts "veteran teams" (what fielding development does a veteran have left to develop?).  Does discipline do anything for minor league player fielding development?

Most people want some kind of accumulated data but hey, why bother you are a good guesser.
