I would miss the comeraderie. But yea. It has become apparent that this is the business owned by an entity that doesn't give two craps.
And when that happens, it's just a matter of time.
I would suspect that the few groups of someones that like to organize and run respective leagues will eventually tire of it. And they'll either leave outright, or find a new product and take their loyal minions there.
Or, life goes on, and people will gravitate to something else.
But it's been near 10 years since I first started playing games on this, and what kept me were 3 things;
-great product
-great service
-great people playing the game and great times interacting with them
#2 is gone. Like, no brainer gone.
Which means, eventually, #1 will be gone. Can't have great product without great service.
And then falls domino #3.
I don't think I'm Chicken Little on this one. Almost from the day Tarek was bought out, it's been on the slippery slope.
