Best time to promote a player Topic

I thought I read this somewhere but I can't find it. When is the best time to promote someone to the next level up? Is it right after they receive a regular season bump? Then, you get a promotion bump in ratings after that?

No. There isn't really a promotion bump.

Any time is fine.

But if promoting to the bigs, you should wait til after 20 games to save a year of ML service, right?
