Cap the amount of players you're allowed to waive in one day. You shouldn't be allowed to waive your roster to get guys to pass through.

An incredibly minor issue, but a pet peeve of mine since this game went live...

Can we please stop hitting the batter following a HR so often? That really doesnt happen in MLB. If anything, the batter who hit the HR might be more likely to get beaned next time (esp. if he is a showboat)... but in real life, the guy who hits after a HR doesn't get beaned with NEARLY the frequency that it happens in HBD.

Had some time, just checked one of my teams.

Through 87 games in MG, there have been 229 HRs and 54 HBPs in my ML team's games.  Only 4 HBPs have come after HRs.  Or once every 22 games.

Not sure what you think the frequency should be, but it certainly doesn't seem like it's a rampant problem in the game engine.

If you have different numbers to back up your claim, or can produce some MLB numbers, please share them.

I've never noticed it either.  Nor will I look it up.

I'd like for a team to have to offer arbitration to departing type A and B free agents to recieve draft compensation (like MLB).  Of course, these players would have to occasionally accept arb, to make it work.  I think doing so would help keep quality players in the league longer.  Each season I've noticed 3 or 4 type A's that go unsigned until after the draft roster comes out, decreasing they're ratings and thus the overall talent pool.  It might marginally help the draft as well, less comp picks would provide a better talent pool for the later rounds.

That bug in free agency whereby a team that is leading in the bidding for a free-agent gets sucker-punched and receives a message from the agent/player that they took the best offer on the table without getting a chance to re-bid.

If you are leading during the process, are you supposed to keep increasing your bid?  Maybe that was explained somewhere but I don't recall reading it.
