15 day DL question Topic

  Why do I only have the option of moving a player to the 15 day DL? He is only hurt for 8 days, and I want to put him on the 7 day DL. So why am I only getting the 15 day DL option? Nobody else on my team is hurt.

 I received 2 emails for 2 injured players. The first player is hurt for 8 days, and it reccomends a trip to the 15 day DL, the second player is hurt for 16 days, and it reccomends a trip to the 7 day DL. Is this just an error that WIS needs to fix?

ML DL can only be 15 or 60 days. Minors have 7 or 60 day DLs.

The 7-day DL was only instituted in MLB this season, primarily for concussions.  I'm not sure how much it was even used this season.

It's not in HBD at the ML level.

Al Albuquerque was placed on the 7 day DL by the tigers after being hit in the head by a fly ball in BP

We are going to be reviewing some of the new rules in the coming months. We do not foresee this being a huge part of the game as the rule only applies to player's who have suffered concussions.
