Newbie here as well.  I am drafting 22nd and don't anticipate giving up or getting any extra picks.   What is a reasonable amount to budget for my draft and international spending?    Are there are a number of tough signs that drop and, if so, is it worth budgeting a little extra to snag another talent or two?

As far as draft goes, unless you are in season 1 of a new world, you have historical data to look at and see what the going rate is for your slot. As far as IFA goes, that is very much dependant on your world. A good IFA will go for anywhere between 15-35 million depending on league rules, willingness to spend by owners, amount of IFA's on any given season, etc....

Review prior drafts for slot amounts, bearing in mind that you could still draft a guy who wants more than slot.  At 22, you should plan on spending in the neighborhood of 3.2M for the draft.  The "tough signs" could be real tough, like up to and above 10M.
