How deep are you at C?  I would think he would wind up there every now and then. 
And, personally, I would make him available at 1B, because I'd rather have him end up there than LF (or SS), and I think he can handle the position reasonably well, if necessary.

He's my third C.  Played 2 innings there also.   He PH for my LF and we went into extras.  He was the last guy off the bench.  Even had a pitcher PH for another pitcher after that.     I don't think the positional setting mattered at that point.

I'm not sure if the system would think to do this, but if he was eligible at 1B and your 1B was eligible at LF, would they have swapped their positions?

You wouldn't have thought it was a crazy substitution if he'd have hit a game winning bomb. Sometimes NL ball is, well, strange. Give me a DH every time.

I wouldn't worry about that 56 contact by the way. In my experience in pitchers parks, Contact/Eye take on more importance than they would in a neutral context, but good hitters are still good hitters. I've been carrying a DH-only on my bench for several seasons with ratings of 44-99-72-72-45 and he's a .900+ OPS hitter over 650ish PAs.

No, there isno position swapping like you suggest.

Doesn't matter much.   He didn't have anything hit his way and, since most of the people in this thread insist I could get by with a few as 10 pitchers, I'll probably add a 14th position player soon enough,

I like that in real life, your guy would have the nickname "The Gookie Monster". Should sell a few jerseys.

Our marketing department wasn't nearly as creative.   They were calling hm "The ****".    We had a few problems from the ACLU over that one.

The Gookie Monster comes off the bench and hits a 3 run homer to win the game.    His stat line for the season:  308/400/769.  

Me want homers!

The Gookie Monster has 25 AB with a line of 320/393/560 line with 2 homers(32 games).

Down to 11 pitchers and nervous as long-tailed cat in a room full of rockers about potential fatigue issues.

Made it to the A/S break without having to use anyone at less than 100%.   However, there were times when I was moving SP(who were 100%) to LR to cover my bullpen for a game or two.   So I traded Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Benji Lee and Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Lazy Valdes for Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Luis Torcato.  Torcato doesn't thrill me but he can eat a lot of innings if needed in the 2nd half.
