Waiver list mess up? Topic

Had a trade arranged where I shipped this guy MarioHyers for two younger prospect position guys.  Trade was posted and I accepted...but forgot i had to Waive my guy first.  Trade is still posted....

We're in the playoffs (neither team involved is still playing) so it is obviously after the deadline.  When I waived Hyers to allow him to be claimed by the other guy, I forgot to designate that it was auto revoke.  First time I've waived to trade.

Did I mess up?  Will the other guy just end up with him?  If so, I think he'll be straight up and we'll arrange a trade all the same.....I think

But I just want to know if I messed up...or if I get the chance to pull Hyers back and THEN make the trade.

Not if someone else claims him.   That team will get him and you'll get nothing.    If the season is over, his salary is $0.   He'll be claimed if anyone in your world is paying attention.

Hey Mike, thanks.

I'm sure the other guy claimed him first.  We set it up so I let him know exactly when i placed him on the list and he then got him a minute later.

That makes no difference.  Waiver order is what matters.  Where does he fall-out in the league standings?

You had better hope he had a poor record, what I can't understand is how TWO people don't know how the WW works

If only waivers was first come first served you would be set!
