Let's just say it didn't exactly take off.

Nothing about him makes me go "WOW!!" but he did make 9 A/S teams.   That make him worthy of consideration.
Romero cited on page 529 made 9 all-star teams as well and was fireman of year 3 times.  Does change your opinion of him?

You asked if one deserved to be in the HOF and if the other deserved consideration.   Both deserve consideration.  Neither would get my vote.

Would you support a black ink/grey ink system for entry into the Hall of Fame I have seen some places?  Every time you lead the league in a relevant category that is worth some amount of "points", if you are in the top 10 that is worth significantly few points, but is worth something.  MVP's, GG's, SS's, All-Star Games, Cy Young, and ROY each have their own point value.  In the end you either earn a certain number of points or not.

Does the LPGA (of all things?!) have the best HOF criteria in RL sports?  Achieve 35 you are in, don't and you not.  Simple, measurable, hard to achieve, perfect IMO.

Yeah, I think I'd support something along those lines.  Clear cut standards would be fine by me as long as it's not one category(like 500 saves). 

I find it disturbing that you know the LPGA criteria for the HOF.   However, if you google "hottest chick in LPGA", this will pop up:

Why is she standing on her toes?  Wouldn't that throw her swing off balance?

Why is she using a driver on the fairway? 

If the green is behind her, shouldn't she be facing the other way and trying to do a soft pitch over the bunker onto the green?

Maybe she's not the most successful LPGA golfer?

In a vacuum, Dixon.  At 25, he has about 12-14 productive seasons in his future.  Hill has half of that.

Only if he cut his dreads and learned to spell.

She's awesome.  Her caddy/swing coach suck.  STFU, 'mowrg.
