How many 100% AB per DUR rating help? Topic

I have a few guys that went below a 100% at the 340ab range. So I would like to start resting players. I would like a 100% AB range chart  so I can keep my guys rested and at a 100%. Thanks

 DUR        100% AB

I don't have a chart for you, but I can tell you that plate appearances, not at bats should be you're measuring stick. Defensive innings also impact fatigue.

For what it's worth, I look more at how many total at bats I can expect for the season and sprinkle in the rest as needed. That way you avoid having to rest everyone at the same time.

PA
65  550
75  600
85  650

That's non-catcher PA.    Catchers probably lose 50-75 a season.    All of that is a rough estimate.

In my experience I found players with the same rating will fatigue differently for other non-catcher positions as well.  My guess is that it works across the defensive spectrum.

Yeah, that's pretty much a COF/CIF scale.     MIF/CF of 75 seems to hit around 570-580 PA at 100%.

Don't forget to add that it makes a difference where the player bats in the order. A guy batting the top spots get a lot more at bats and that can add up. I have a low health/dur guy that should be a leadoff hitter. Instead, I feel I would get more out of him batting him 6 through 9 (AL team) in hopes I can squeeze more games out of him.

Well, he'll actually probably get more PAs batting leadoff, but more innings and games played hitting down in the order.

Exactly. I need his defense in center. So, the more he can play the better my team will be. Should be able to keep his PA to under 500 and still get 130 games out of him. (that comes out to about 3.8 PA/game which is average for a hitters batting in the 7/8/9 hole.

No, but the question was what is the difference between PA and AB.
BB, SAC, HBP, FC, E (no catcher interference in hbd) all count as plate appearances.

E and FC count as both PA and AB.   Therefore, they are not difference makers.

Right and I gave him the list of things that don't count as ABs. There's one other actually, but I'm not sure how WIS handles it and that's being at bat when the inning ends. In MLB that doesn't count as an AB...I'm not sure how WIS handles that.
