8 A/S appearances is pretty solid.   Stern probably should have about 4000 innings instead of 4600.   That would ahve lowered his WHIP/ERA a good bit but kept him from 300 wins.   I have no problem with Stern's election.

We haven't elected a 2B/3B/SS.  Our only CF played just under 50% of his games there.    I think the world is "ME...LIKE....HOMERS....HIT...BALL....HARD"

Obviously not; Perez didn't make it in the HOF.

He got 16 votes to Cambridge's 4.

Did they change the rules for MG such that 16 votes gets a guy in the HOF?

Are you somehow implying that 16 is not a lot more than 4?

"a lot" is relative.  I think you should be complaining about the pitcher, not the 1B.  8 AS appearances for a pitcher isn't impressive; it's the easiest position for a solid player to make the AS team.  1B is the most difficult position to get a good/great player in there.  Your 1B won 2 MVP's and hit 770 ******* HR.  He should be in the HOF.  Get the rest of your world to vote and maybe you'll get Cambridge in your HOF.

16 is four times as many as 4.   That is "a lot" no matter how you slice it.    The pitcher had a great stretch.  Something like 16-18 straight seasons of double digit wins and 200+ innings.  Nonetheless, I don't have a problem with Perez in the HOF(or Stern).  I have a problem with Cambridge getting 4 votes when a 1B with a career OPS .001 better getting 16.

Out of curiosity, what position is Cambridge listed as for HOF voting?
If one sees a COF with 2000 Hits/400 HR and not much hardware in voting, they may just blow by without looking to see that he actually played 2B/3B the bulk of his career.

Anyone who reads our WC knows he played 2B/3B most of his career.   Of course, when I brought him back to get #400, he was playing RF.

I think if you only have 17 people voting for the HOF, its safe to think that you don't exactly have full attendance reading the WC.  And anyone that wasn't around in the world for his career is unlikely to just know he played 2B/3B.
WIS should definitely change the HOF voting page to show the position a player played most or all of the positions he played a significant amount of time at.

I've made this suggestion a few times. You'd think it'd be an easy fix.

WifS should let us have "Personal HOF" and then let SIMMY pick the best 2-3 every season based on whatever they deem fit.    Let us put 1 player each season in our HOF starting with S20.

Both players would definitely get my vote. Unfortunately there is alot of apathy towards the HOF as my world recently had this 2-time MVP who failed to even get nominated:  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Earl Jorgensen

Perez didn't make the HOF? That almost makes me glad I sucked too much to be in the league.

Perez obviously would have had my vote, but I probably would have voted for Cambridge too.
