Unfortunately   I don't have any players on the 60 day DL right now.  Do you?

If I were aware of the rule, I probably would have assumed that it wouldn't have worked if I tried it, so I probably wouldn't have tried.  I wasn't trying to game the system.
That's EXACTLY what I'd say if I wanted someone to add some recovery points to my player.
There's no way for me to prove that I wasn't trying to cheat, so I won't even bother trying.  The point is the game allowed me to do something that I technically shouldn't have been able to.  Is that my fault?

You know you were trying to game the system so you could put your player back on the 40 so he'd be able to pitch in the playoffs.  Should the game have let you?  No.

However, he was on the 40.  You should have noticed that and left well enough alone.

And WifS should correct the bug and do nothing with your player.  You made a couple of mistakes while trying to work the game.

Nice mind reading skills, Mike.  I've heard your opinion, I don't need to hear it any more.  If anyone else has any input, I'd like to hear it.

On the 40, not on the playoff roster(because they're not active).  But I can add them to the playoff roster once they're off the DL.
So, you are saying that if I had three players on the 60 day DL at the post season cutoff, I technically could have 43 players to choose from for my playoff roster?

You are.  He has to be on your 40 man roster.  Once you remove him from the DL, he is on your ACTIVE 40 man roster(which is now 41).   He can be added to your playoff roster.

Probably shouldn't work that way but it's a bug in the game.  If nothing else, you should have to remove someone from your 40 in order to remove him from the DL.

My Coop summary:
Total Roster Sizes (Current/Max)
40-Man: 43/40 High A: 25/35
AAA: 27/38 Low A: 34/35
AA: 26/37 Rookie: 28/30

If you don't want my opinion, don't post in a public forum.

Take responsibility for your actions.

Then take responsibility for your actions.   You're guilty of several things.

1.  Not knowing the rules of baseball.
2.  Not knowing how HBD works.
3.  Trying to game the system to get your player on your post-season roster.

Interesting.  If I had have known that, I never would have gotten myself into the pickle that I put myself in.  I always just assumed that the guy was removed from the 40 and was therefore ineligible for the playoffs.  I guess you learn something every day.

As you can see on the three players I posted, they are on my 40 man roster and on the 60 day DL.    Your player cared looked the same way.

1. I'm sure there's many more rules of ML baseball that I'm unaware of.  My HOPE is that HBD works with the rules, and doesn't allow me to do things that I shouldn't.
2. Nothing I can do but spend more time figuring out every little glitch that I can take advantage of to better my teams chances I guess.
3. If I'm unaware that I'm not supposed to be able to do something, how could I be "gaming" the system?  If I'm guilty of #1, I intrinsically cannot be guilty of #3.  It's called logic.

I should have looked at the card for sure.
