I'll let you in on a secret.   They either won't be signed, and you can get them on the cheap again, or they'll only be signed if someone does mass signings so you'll get a later pick(assuming they didn't sign someone from a 92 win team) than you think.

Not being critical because I agree 100% with your premise about the availability of good players in ST but you didn't turn picks into better picks.
Even if the same team does a mass signing and takes these guys it will be an improvement of draft picks as some of these guys were 3,4,5,6th picks and they will end up being 30-50th picks next season if somebody signs them?

They won't be signed.  I've done this several times(not to the same extent).  I get the guys back at a discount if they're still Type A because they're a year older and not better.   Nothing changes about anyone's desire to sign them.

A)  You signed the guy twice.
B)  I'm always trying to win.   Don't think that will be the last Type A I sign this season.  IOW, don't expect a 1st round pick.

A)  Then you signed him to a two year deal(and paid 900k to get out of the 2nd)
B)  Curious why you think I'm wrong.   Owners trying to win aren't that concerned about losing the 25th pick in the draft(me) and will sign players well before they reach the 1 season deals.   zbrent had 6 players fall into that category.  Unless someone like me joined his world between seasons, they will repeat the process.

How do you know he wasn't on my target list and I was just waiting for him to drop to 1 year demands?

Yet you gave him two with a rising salary?  Don't you know that the 1 year FA will resign at the same salary for additional years if he sign them before the season ends?

If you did what you say, you're kinda dumb.

So he wanted 3m and you ended up paying him 3.3m?    Good job?
