I tend to think that theres a fine line where if you win too often, it is either very very good luck, or something fishy is going on.

One of the best owners I've seen is Gidoni79, he only plays in one private world: Caray

I've heard that one of the owners will give his team away late in the season rather than have a missed playoff on his record.

I've heard one got kicked out of a league for trading "draft picks" and nearly ruining an entire league.

2) Most of those guys probably suck and just rape tard worlds
3) I am the best because I consistently make the playoffs in competitive worlds and have never finished below .500, doubt anybody else can say the same.

I have two losing season's.  One was an end of the season takeover (52-110), the other was a team that started out 0-33 that I then took over (80-82).  Those are two of the three seasons I also didn't make the playoffs.

LOCO was a steaming pile of AIDS, would be surprised if it was still in existence.  I took over a 15-80 team with all 0 staminas.  Started off with an L6 while I got the pitching staff in order and found some stopgap arms, then GOATed in beast mode and finished 46-15 for a 61-101 record

My season in LOCO was a replacement (and yes, it is still around). I took over a team that was 0-28, and every pitcher in the entire organization (there were ten) were below the HiA level, even the 3 ML players. Started L12 before winning a few. Didn't even finish last in the league with less than 40 wins.

At some point you will need to build/rebuild.  It's possible to keep a team at the top for 10-15 seasons but at some point the minor league system will run dry and there will be a lack of FA and trade partners.  Come back to us when you have played in one competitive world for 20+ seasons.

well in moneyball i picked up a team with zero farm system and like 3 useful ML players and made it a 99 win team in s1.  it's not that hard to build something out of nothing since on average all of you are terrible at hbd.

i'm probably going to be ****** in MG since everything i use to do doesn't work anymore.  it wouldn't shock me if i went under .500 for a season w/ a little bit of bad luck, and i may not even win 90 this year.  aside from the fact that the trade market is completely and utterly dry and i can't even get a neutral expectancy trade off, more and more people are mirroring my budget strategy which makes my old tricks less effective.

There are only so many budget "options".    It's less about "mirroring" and more about "limited turnover".
