I think I already said I don't play by other peoples ethics or moral codes.
I think what Mike is trying to say is if you want to leave the world, how does making trades benefit you? If this game wasn't dependent on cooperation and people being courteous to others it wouldn't matter what you do with the team YOU paid for. Unfortunately there is unwritten rules that owners follow because it is good form and helps the world as whole as well as any new owner that may come into your world and take your team after you leave it. If you were lined up to take the team and the owner traded away all the superstars before they left you would probably not want the team anymore. Am I correct?

You don't play by any ethical or moral code.  You just play like an arrogant, self-righteous, inconsiderate douche.  If I were commissioner of a world and you tried to join I would literally laugh out loud.  Then I'd start a thread just to laugh at you publicly for trying to join my world.

Trading away or releasing guys before you go is very childish at least, and defending it with  "I don't play by other peoples ethics or moral codes" just reinforces a lack of integrity. Wonder how long HBD would survive if the majority did that? Makes me curious why WIS is allowing this to go so far.

This is such a fun game to play and I've never seen stuff like this in any world I've been in.  It's sad that people need to drag their own personal **** into the game and cause such drama.

It's the internet.  Takes all kinds.

However, as I previously mentioned, this is why I like these threads.   I'm not interested in having owners who think "It's my team, I'll do what I want" in my worlds while going against what I called "common courtesy".

Ha. You say you don't want to deal with "kids" but you sound like a twelve year old who owns the ball and if everybody doesn't play like you want them to then you'll take your ball and go home and pout, screwing the rest who want to play a game in the process. I think everybody has come across your type at some point in their lives and Mike is right it's best to get it out in the open for everyone to see.

I don't.  I do play by my own though.  Good thing those are usually much higher!

Is that a joke?  It's fine to screw over the owner of  your new team by cutting your arb-eligible guys based on your "higher" ethical standard?  The funniest thing is that you actually seem to believe that to be true.  You really are truly stupid.
