Be nice to see what that trade looked like.  As an 18 year old he was a better hitter than all my current players but one.

I haven't looked at the trade itself, but the team that traded him has averaged 104 wins per season since, so it's worked out for them.  Then again the team that picked him up has averaged 115 wins a season and has won 5 WS in 9 seasons with him.

Which kind of makes Dimaggio a 'tard world.

But then there was a post recently about someone winning 47 percent of that world's WS.  I wonder what world that is?  Should that be considered a tard world?

Egan is by far the best hitter I've seen.

in return for him in Season 12... that's actually not a bad trade at all.  It would really depend on what my franchise looked like to determine which end of that I'd rather be on.

I agree, not a bad trade really. Sad part is both of the position players are probably as good put together.

Levrault has hit 573 homers in 8 MLB seasons....and he was the 2nd best hitter in the deal, but not by much.

His career numbers are .363-.433-.764.  Egan's are .372-.475-.772

573 homers in 8 seasons = 71.6 per season. I don't know if that is tard-ish....but it is stupid.   Egan has hit 446 in 8 seasons.  That's 55.7 per.

Levrault was Pick #26.  Can there be 25 guys in a draft better than him?

Actually, I think I would have traded Egan for a near-Egan who can play more games and for a better than decent workhorse starter.  Well, it would be close anyway.  Levrault gets in 90-100 PA's more than Egan every year.  That's significant.

After reviewing the stats, what world has a guy or guys hit multiple 70+ hr's in consecutive seasons?
8/16/2012 11:28 PM
Heck, he's hit 83 & 85 in the last two seasons.

Clearly in the realm of tard.

With 73 DUR id trade this guy in a freaking second.

Shoot, I'd be okay on either side of the deal.

Players like Egan really make me want to see an All-time HBD Monsters league.

Like SLB but with HBD players?

Pretty neat idea.
