Rangerup's rebuild with 4 advance scouting Topic

Thanks tonica.  I have never had a problem in any other world, I just react to idiocy and there is an idiot in Mike Greenwell, hence the problem there.  At this point, stevehoggett will continue to just make random stuff up to make his case appear stronger, I will no longer react to him.

To continue on what tecwrg said, where there is smoke there is usually fire.  I never start the smoke, but have a tendency to create the fire, especially when another is provoking me.  Part of my training I guess.  You know, the guy who never starts anything, but won't hesitate to knock you flat on your *** before a warning.  I am not saying this as a look at me, I envy those that can just let things go.  And he is also right in that I can come off as an arrogant douche in defending myself.  I am not a bully though, it is when defending myself.  Most of the time when you write on the forum, there will always be a guy that is just trying to find a fault and put a pin in it to rile a person up.  Mike34 and tecwrg are prime seekers of this, so I have reacted to them in the past aggressively.  It's a poor reaction, as I am not used to interacting over a keyboard.

I'm aggressive, but I am not a bully, I don't break rules and I don't try to take advantage of other people.  If your not on my side, I come off as an arrogant douche.  If you are on my side, I will help you take your enemies to the wood shed.

Most of the time, when somebody posts on the forum, if they come across as sincere they will get a helpful response.

If they come across as *********, they will be treated as such.

Where do you think you fall . . . sincere or ********?

Ranger, you have specifically said that you will not allow someone to take over your team that you worked hard at building. That is why you claim you made the trades you made. That is the point moe was making, you have no problems taking a team over that another owner worked hard building but you won't extend the same courtesy to others. The more you continue the more likely that nobody will want you in their world, including the ones that you are currently in. You do understand the commish does NOT have to let you renew. They can keep you from returning.

I'm trying to decide what makes Ranger so tough. The fact that he says he is, or the fact that he types LOL more often than a 13 year old girl.

And lets not pretend that this MG world team you took over was talentless. In the 5 years before you took over it drafted, 1,5,5,9,14 and 11th in your first year. Seeing some of those names, you had a lot of talent to work with.

You know how I judge a winner?  By their record.   When a team wins 110 the previous season, there's a good chance that they're a good team.  Hope I didn't give away your scouting secrets, sheepdog.   Or were you the wolf?   That was a very confusing analogy.

I really did think it was hilarious when, after it was pointed out that he repeatedly takes over winning teams, rangerup's response is "I know how to tell a winner."  That is impressive.  The no losing seasons in 20 years was WAY over most of our heads.  Good thing there are superior team analysts like yourself out there to help us figure it out.

Ranger's a quick learner.  He mastered the game after one season and an hour on the forums.

Why rip me on that?  I do know how to tell a winner, you should too.  I'm not telling you that you don't.  So why would you judge me on being able to? I don't get what the "you take over good teams" attack is accomplishing.  I'm not denying it, I want to have a good team so I look for them.  I am not proclaiming I am the only guy that can tell a good team.  Seems pointless to try to pin me on that.

Actually that is not true, unless you violate a guideline, the commish does have to let you re-up if that is what you want to do.  I was a commish and had this issue come up.  Not that is has anything to do with your point, just letting you know.
Well I was also a commish for over 15 seasons not just a couple and I'll tell you that if I didn't want someone to renew regardless of them being within the rules, I didn't have to let them. Their attitude alone was enough for me to keep them out, maybe your higher level of morals doesn't apply to CS and they may like me more so they let me. I just KNOW after WAY more time as a commish I could keep people from renewing in MY world if I wanted to.

You take over GOOD TEAMS and say that you choose to not others benefit from YOUR hard work when you are about to leave the team. Why don't you extend the same courtesy. The teams you took over were not completely traded out so the next owner couldn't benefit from their hard work.
