We were waiting on someone to come back from last year, and he's been absent. This the only turnover we had this season after not having any the year before. It's a very strong league and a very social league.

I'd prefer an experienced owner, but I'd settle for anyone with a sense of humor.

There will be ball-busting.

Once someone joins, we can start the new season process.

As I stated before, it is a highly competitive league. All of the owners know what they're doing by now, and you'll see a great variance in strategy... Because we have no set rules on cap distribution, you'll have teams focused on veterans and the FA market and other teams who keep a minimal player budget in order to acquire top international prospects and build their team through the draft... Schematic differences across the league mean that if you're shrewd and keep with a good strategy, you have as good a shot as anyone to make it...

The league is decidedly not top-heavy. Because everyone is reasonably competent, there aren't any abnormally stacked franchises. Nobody was able to trade-rape and/or tank their way to domination. The very vocal league chat keeps owners honest. And it does keep things interesting.

I've never been in a world with as many trades as this league has... Owners all seem to be receptive to offers and looking to improve their franchises...
