or mcbob +pick + tpe for mayo & tony allen?

would Memphis hook LA up again?  Not that it worked out badly for them before... but I don't see what's in it for them with that.

What makes you think Memphis is going to have a fire sale?

I'm bored and memphis and indiana toyed with a mcbob for mayo deal in the past so Im just spitting bubbles

ah.  The Tony Allen part is what I found fishy.  Mayo would be a good addition if he played the 3 or the 1 effectively, but since he'll be at the 2, I don't see it helping anything significantly.

Absolutely love this option (if it really is one).

Ridnour/Blake
Kobe/Barnes
Metta/Beasley
Pau/Murphy
Bynum/Wallace

This fills the line-up holes instead of just moving them around, it keeps the 3 young players the Lakers appear to like for the future, and it keeps one of this year's 1st round picks.

FWIW the only positively redeeming quality about Beas is that he's not Metta.  That should put Barnes in the starting lineup and Metta in the DNP-CD role.

Miami might give you Mike Miller for air- I like him in the rotation lots better than Beas or Mayo.

Rumor, but it works pretty well really...except for Toronto, but who cares.

The Magic send Howard, Hedo Turkoglu and Jameer Nelson to the Lakers for Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum. The Toronto Raptors are also part of the rumor sending Jose Calderon to Orlando, although no one is quite sure what would complete that part of the trade.

The rumor also has all this happening on March 1.

yeah, heard it, dont love it

ya 2 washed up albatrosses aren't exactly going to balance the scales on a pau + bynum for dwight deal.  you need either randerson to be included or a 3rd team to get involved.

Getting Anderson and Howard for Bynum and Gasol is never going to happen.  H*ll, Orlando thinks they should get both for just Howard, they're not adding their 2nd best player in the deal too.  Also, if Nelson is part of any deal that includes Howard, I think Howard flips, as he reportedly hates playing with the guy.

Yeah it really sounds like Orlando really doesn't want to trade him, and especially not to the Lakers.   Feel like he's not getting moved at the deadline.

Of course it's ridiculous to think that you should get *both* Pau and Bynum for a guy who is probably going to bounce.  But they also thought it was a good idea to trade Bass for BBD at 4/26, so it's not like that organization has a clue regardless.
