I've already put together a Georgia Tech team.  We need help on D!!!
Gave up on my Alma Mater. Need a lot more than D.

I always thought that it would fun to do one with players with no college, players with 4 years of college, international as in were born outside of the US, and players who played at least one year in college but less than 4 years. Maybe a 50 million salary cap. Any thoughts?

I would be interested in the college theme, with twists or not.

There was International team discussion on page 1. I'll probably allow it this go-round, in effort to make sure League fills.

Cap will be nowhere near $50 million. Probably $44, as it has been. The lower the cap, the more teams that can be competitive.

Might even allow that US - no college team, to see if they're as good as everyone always thinks they would be. If so, they certainly willo have the same restrictions as the "good" college teams.

Maybe you could also have a small school team too. That way Pippen and Ben Wallce get used without being a flex option.

Definitely an idea worth considering. When we do certain "adds" (like anybody born in the same state or who played in the same state), players from small schools could get used, but with the add I have in mind this time, this might be a great way to get an "extra" team or two taken, without duplicating players.

I looked into a state of birth theme for basketball as I run the baseball version. Will see if we can get 24 competitive teams!

If you do something like that you can now include UCLA, North Carolina and Kansas but they can't recruit a player.  They can only use players who went to their school..

So for International that is just players that didn't play for a college team at all correct? There's no Swen Nater's or Steve Nash;s allowed right? Thanks.

Would anything less than NCAA Division One be considered small colleges?

Actually Swen Nater went to UCLA..

I know but isn't Nater listed as being born in the Netherlands? So I guess I'm looking for an exact definition of what being an international player means. Does it mean all players born outside of the US or just players that were born outside the US and didn't go to a US college?

If players are listed as playing for any College, they are NOT eligible for either the US or International High School-only teams.
(So Nater and Nash would NOT be eligible.)

Still trying to figure-out what "small-school" is. May just make that the allowable "add" (except for the "good" teams who get no add), since nothing is set in stone yet.

I have to check, but I was thinking teams with 6 or fewer players in the system. If you can only fill up half a team, you're probably not an NBA powerhouse.

I was actually thinking at least 10 or 12, since anything less would make it impossible to field a team even with an add and a "filler".
