If you are wondering Colorado has 6 championships.  Seems Colorado just can't break the NC barrier.

Personally I think NT wins is the best measure if you want to just look at 1 single category.

It doesn't penalize teams in tough conferences and gets rid of teams in easy conferences that don't do well.  Championships are too reliant and easy to manipulate from just 1/2 good coaches in 1 world.

Delaware Valley really surprises me.....the others are all in good spots, Del Val is close to Philly I guess.....they must have a bunch of D2 options from the D2 Philadelphia league

Eight of their 11 titles were in Crum and 7 were by some coach named jsajsa.

That's the thing with this. One world can really skew the results, in this case Crum. 184 of the 383 NT victories, nearly 50%, are just from Crum as well.

very cool the0.

as to delaware valley,  my recollection is that vandydave coached there in nearly every world in the early days kind of like myers at dickinson these days.
i guess he must have only won a few of the titles but he won quite a few games from what i recall.

i never looked at the dallas schools as being such plum spots, but maybe they are?

I'm near Dallas at Tex Tyler, I haven't been there long personally I don't like it, but it seems a lot of people do.  I guess for at least Dallas, Texas they benefit from a weak conference as the ASC I don't think is usually strong.

Also keep in mind all of the Dallas Texas National Championships were won by bunkerbuster or the coach that came right after and I assume used his players.

Maybe Dallas is a decent spot but not great?  I mean Dalls from the Univeristy is usually good, but I think they have the added benefit of being in the usually strong University conference which helps make up for recruits tending to be a bit farther away.

that was pretty much why I think NT wins is a bit better, they can still be skewed a lot by one coach, but less so than a coach going crazy in the NC.  Which when I saw DV pop up I knew it was probably all from jsajsa,

As well as dickinson, but that's a bit of an outlier imo, since all their success is literally from myers, they've had 2 guys in wooden and iba have a short period of success, but otherwise literally everything is from him coaching them in every world so it's hard to ***** if they are good or he is just in love with them and really good.

Texas Lutheran popping up was really surprising in my mind as well.

Obviously Colorado and PBAU are prime destinations, I think Greensboro, La Grange/Oglethorpe/Emory, Dallas(not personally), Menlo, LA located, NYC located are the premier locations.

personally my top 5 would look like:
  • PBAU
  • Colorado
  • Greensboro
  • Oglethorpe/Emory
  • Chicago/Milwaukee aka Carthage/North Park/UofC.
Top conferences are usually USAS, S. Cal. UAA.  freedom and heartland are a tad behind overall.
