Sim League Baseball Owners,

As you know, it's been quite some time since we released an update for SimLeague Baseball. That's about to change and we want to involve you in the process.

First some background...In early 2010, we began the design phase of a totally re-designed SimLeague Baseball. New look, new & improved functionality, better technology, etc. We had it nearly flushed out and ready to begin development when our road map took a big turn.  We were given the opportunity to
build Fantasy Auto Racing, Fantasy Football, Fantasy Baseball and other games for Fox Sports.com (we hope you're playing those games, too).

Now that those games are out in the wild, we are finally able to return to the SimLeague Baseball update we had planned and were so excited about.  We will be spending the next few weeks finalizing our design and technical specs and then starting development. We plan on releasing the new version of the game later this year (September/October).

It's important to keep in mind that this new version of the game is key as it will allow us to further improve the game. Our existing game was built with older technologies and it's become more and more difficult to make changes and enhancements.  This new version will set us up for a series of follow-up releases including some engine improvements, stat additions, progressive league additions, a new version of LIVE, etc.

At this point, we have about 50 screenshots of what the new version of the game will look like. After we finish reviewing internally, we would like to hear your feedback as part of the process.  So, every couple days we will be releasing a new screenshot with details about the page. We'd then like to hear your suggestions.

Expect the first screenshot to be released next week.  We'll be creating a new forum to house all the forum topics related to the redesign.
