It has recently come to our attention that some coaches openly admit to throwing conference tournament games. This goes against the spirit of the game.

This message will serve as a final warning against this type of behavior. If anyone sees a clear case of throwing games please alert us via support ticket as soon as possible.

We'll review each report on a case-by-case basis and reserve the right to take any punitive actions we deem necessary.

It can't be proven, so how can they take action? Maybe they should investigate people with more than one team in the same world. To me, THAT goes against the spirit of the game, and invites cheating and throwing games.

This is an important announcement (not what I was expecting); but anyone throwing games should be thrown in jail...ok...just kiddding but extreme measures should be taken...extreme!

Did this really need a topic though? Why not make one next "No sharing FSS information." or "Stop using the loopholes that we refuse/don't know how to fix." and so on.

Why haven't any of you thrown a game for me? Bastages!

Probably not...but at the same time...you dont want people openly admitting to throwing games; which could directly negatively impact other paying customers who miss out on the tournmant as a result...

Better to err on the side of caution and make an announcement; then not say anything and people later complain that they allow it to go on...

The more active and vocal they are with the HD community the better...

It can't be proven?? Sure it can. If you play all your backups in a tourney game, and change your player game plan...its pretty obvious.

There is an 8 page thread with people whining about someone "throwing" their CT game.

So obviously its important to some of you whiners.
