Rupp Mega-Bowl 2/10 Topic

Okies, time once again to begin the pitch for the DII "Mega-Bowl".

The NT is in full swing in Rupp and it will soon be time for moving up from DIII as well as signing up in DIII if you haven't yet.

Not alot was done last season as most of us just landed into a team or began in DIII. This season we will move closer to what we hope will be the most competetive/fun division in HD. I will update this post in a short time with the dates for sign-ups.

*Looks like the NT ends 10/9.

Job openings should begin this Saturday 10/10.

New coach sign-ups Monday October 12th.

Come join the fun

I'll be sure to use this thread to plug the Peach Belt conference!

We have a few coaches that joined up 3 seasons ago to try to build dynasties. So we might have a bit of an advantage as far as getting a jump on developing our teams and building up conference prestige. We should finish the year @ #10 in Conference RPI this year, with aspirations of top 6 or so next year.

I never moved up to D2 after one season at D3. Any idea what a Sweet Sixteen team (hopefully better!) can get after just one season at d3? How about PIT teams? NT first round teams? etc.

I will be moving up from George Fox if I can after a PIT. We won 17 games this season with an RPI of 89 I believe. George Fox will be better next season than this one as we only graduate two. They are in the #3 conference and about 5 of us are "Mega-Bowl" DII bound so if Fox is not available,,, any tean that opens in the Northwest Conference will be a good jumping in place.

I will do the same for the Sunshine Conference. We have 3 SIMs who are bogging down our RPI but we are still #3 in Conference RPI. I know of 1 confirmed coach leaving (joelhall at Florida Tech).

If we can fill this conference, we will easily be top 5 in conference RPI soon! Come join the Sunshine Conference!!!

Really hate to see Joel go... truely a great coach. Hate to see anyone with 2000+ wins and 5 titles retire just as we're getting started. Get after him WC22 and talk him into stayin around for a few more.

zags if you are already signed up... and you notice Le Moyne opens up... send me a sitemail and i might be willing to get back into d2 rupp... can't really see myself taking over just any program in that world tho... I tried that and it just wasn't the same.

I signed up a long time ago and reserved St. Mary's in the Heartland.

Pretty sure sjcpanther is headed to the Heartland as well.

Well, apparently I won't be in the D II mega bowl, since even a 4-23 team with a 254 RPI, D prestige and no human coach for the last 20 seasons won't hire me, despite my useless agent.

Any way to get that season to transfer to another world?
