I would consider a package of Scott Hairston and my number one pick in order to move up.

Need more than one player to compete?

The Yankees are interested in trading our 1 and 2 for a high 1 and 4 or 5. Sitemail if interested.

Have not seen anything that really interests me and the prices appear steep for what is available.

Things will get going.
Ceez is often a willing trade partner.

Well they have gotten going........

The Tigers trade their first round pick to the Dodgers for Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers first round pick.

Wanting to get some more early picks (I know, I know, everyone else does too) ... so I'm a very willing trader. Send me any offers, I have probably only two or three untouchables on my roster.

thinking of an offer.

I had an owner send me a message asking if trades between two owners who have the draft rights for restricted free agents could be allowed.

Basically, he was suggesting that, for example, the cards could trade their rights to Julio Lugo to the Red Sox, if they liked, and the Red Sox would not have to use a draft pick on him.

I think that this is clever and I will allow it.

Also, it would be ok for say the Rockies to trade their rights to Jason Giambi to the marlins, and then the marlins would have the rights to draft him if the A's chose not to.

I would also allow that.

It adds a whole new element.
