I can't argue with that list, although as a Redskins fan, I might have to bump Snyder to position No. 1 pretty soon.

Is Al Davis even still alive?

I don't have a Twitter account, but one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile were the tweets from the "Very Fake Al Davis" account, mostly making fun at how out-of-touch and stuck in the 70's Davis is.

My favorite: "Pete Rozelle is terrible at returning phone calls".

I think the Redskins troubles are much more simple than they like to admit. Namely, Campbell shouldn't be a starting QB in the NFL. Snyder is a good owner, you never hear from him and he doesnt get involved (which are two things he was guilty of when he took over the team). He is willing to spend money and has put together a very talented team on both sides of the ball. The should throw Colt Brennan in and see if he is worth anything and if not use their pick on Colt McCoy. I'm telling you watching Campbell play is heart wrenching and I don't understand Redskins fans constant defense of him...

I'd also take Mike Brown off the list...no questions the Bengals were a joke for forever but since hiring Marvin Lewis the culture has turned...In fact they had become one of the better teams a couple of years ago but suffered a set back when Palmer got hurt...He's healthy their defense is young and was already good last year and they finally found a running back.

I think I'd replace Snyder/Brown with whoever owns the Jets as theyve been pathetic for a million years along with Ralp Wilson...While Wilson was one of the best owners for many years and helped build the NFL; he like Davis has lost it and run that team into the ground.

Dan Snyder is 78-89 as an owner. He is a not a bad owner.

At least he has a time tested method for choosing coaches. Go with the offensive genius until Al no longer views him as such, then replace with an old school offensive line coach.

Are we talking about the same Dan Snyder? You either don't follow the Redskins or have your head in the sand. Snyder has meddled constantly, maybe not enough to make national headlines, but he has meddled plenty ever since he took over the team and virtually none of it has turned out well. Most of his meddling has come in the form of bad personnel decisions, which he is making, not his puppet Vinny Cerrato.

Drafting Colt McCoy would be lovely, except for one thing: Snyder has traded away most of the Skins' high draft picks, just as he has done in almost every season. There is no team in football that has built through the draft worse than the Skins.

And Colt Brennan was absolutely horrible this past preseason. There's a reason Brennan was placed on season ending injured reserve when he was barely injured. Brennan was actually outplayed in the preseason by undrafted Chase Daniel out of Missouri.

All that said, I agree that Campbell is horrible, but he is far from their biggest problem. They have one of the worst offensive lines in football, they have a severe lack of talent at WR and Portis is over the hill.

I agree that the Bengals have turned into a decent team. I would replace Brown with Randy Lerner. The Browns are a joke. They have absolutely no offense and their defense is only marginally better. I think when the the best player on the team is a Special Teams guy - something is obviously wrong. Lerner stands by his GM though and doesn't see any problem there.

Special mention should also go to the Titans owner for telling the head coach who to start at QB. Yes, Vince Young may be ready but that still should be the coaches decision.

The worst has to be Mike Brown of the Bengals. He refuses to hire a GM and tries to do it all himself. He probably has the worst record of any GM in league history.
Whenever it's suggested that he hire a football man, he says, "I AM a football man." He thinks that, because his Dad was a football genious, he has the same talent.

I wish, just once, someone would ask him, "Why don't you hire a GOOD football man?"

Anyone who says Mike Brown or Dan Synder are good owners is being naive.

Both operate behind the scene, with devastating consequences. Marvin Lewis taking over as the face of the Bengals operation is a plus, but Brown still pulls all of the strings. They have had exactly one winning season since Marvin took over. Mike Brown has been in charge since 1991. He should not be the GM. Until he steps back and lets a real football man run the organization, they will continue to be mediocre at best. Marvin deserves better than Mike Brown.

Ditto for Dan Synder, except Synder has way more money than Brown and will freely spend it. Brown is tight fisted. Synder is involved with every major decision the Redskins make. Most of them are horrible decisions. He should not be the GM. Get a real football guy to run things and step out of the way. With an uncapped season as far as salary cap coming up, it is make or break for Synder and the Skins. He can get a smart football guy and build a great organization with his millions or he can go pay $$$ for another fantasy football team and continue this downward spiral.

Ask your self this - would any of the great NFL owners (even good owners) allow the farce of Sherm Lewis to take place? Not only did Synder allow it, he sanctioned it. After Edward Bennet Williams and Jack Kent Cooke ran the team for almost 30 yrs and made it an elite franchise, Snyder has overseen the downfall. He has succeeded in putting an almost unwatchable product on the field and making the most ardent fans apathetic.

What a great owner.

You definitely need to add Lerner to the list. In ten seasons since they brought the Browns back to Cleveland, they've made the playoffs once and their record is 55-94. Also, look at the coaches they've had: Chris Palmer, Butch Davis, Romeo Crennel and Eric Mangini--- all terrible hires. Their teams are a mess, their coaches are a mess, and their front offices are a mess.

Using his record as an owner is actually pretty misleading. It's not like he took over a new franchise or one that was in disrepair like the Browns. He took over one of the storied franchises in the NFL and has slowly run it into the ground.

Also, the Skins have a huge advantage in that it is one of the most profitable franchises in the league. That has allowed Snyder to spend liberally, yet what does the team really have to show for all its spending? Very little.

Stubblefield was a good big-money signing, but other than that, the team's free agent signings have been busts: DeAngelo Hall (he couldn't tackle a tackling dummy), Jason Taylor (did absolutely nothing), Antwan Randle El (was paid stud receiver money yet is awful). And don't get me started on players like Brandon Lloyd and Adam Archuleta, who were paid top dollar yet did nothing. Oh and Mark Burnell.......I'll stop now.
