As far as team names are concerned, you may use any name used by the selected franchise as shown below, with the proviso that no team name can be used twice, i.e. if the Twins/Senators franchise owner selects the Washington Senators name, the Rangers/Senators owner may not use that name. The stadium used must be a stadium used by the team name selected-i.e. if you decided to use the Brooklyn Dodgers name you cannot use Dodger stadiumm in Los Angeles. As team names are selected during the team selection, they will be shown in BOLD below

Division alignment will have 4 expansion teams in each of the two Central divisions and the other divisions will be aligned geographically based on the team names selected.

Could it be possible towards the very end of the seasons (and yes, I realize this is literally years down the road...) that someone at the bottom of the picking list won't have any teams to pick that he hasn't used already?

elduro, I have thought about that. When we get down to about 4 seasons , I will compile a list of what available teams are for each participant and try to avoid the problem if at all possible.

We can start at any time. I have sitemailed instructions to all, and told specsman he is up and benfc is on deck. PLEASE SITEMAIL THE NEXT TWO OWNERS AFTER YOU MAKE YOUR SELECTION. We will start off the clock and set up a clock for Wednesday if necessary.

Congratulations to those who drew an early position and condolences to those who drew a late position, but we will all eventually get a crack at all the teams.

Yeah, the trick as I see it isn't who drafts first but rather how well each owner does with a particular franchise in comparison to each other with the same franchise. It is certainly a long haul kind of thing as it should all even out eventually?

Stopping a situation where a team will be stuck towards the end without a team to pick will be quite difficult. Almost need a computer program that will map out the 24 seasons for us.
