funny

The checked PR box indicates that he can be removed for a PR. It has nothing to do with who will be used as a PR.

Hope that helps.

It used to take them over 24 hours to generate random responses to tickets. So things are getting better!

They clearly did not like your ticket and therefore gave your team away to someone else.

True, but it is funnier to laugh at the random response from WIS.

GIGO.

Yeah, so their lack of reading my ticket and responding with something that has nothing to do with my ticket is amazing.

Mike, I understand your point, but therein lies the flaw. You are bringing in one of my best SP to PR for a guy. The SP they brought in to PR for him didn't even pitch the next inning. So basically I ran this risk of having 2 SP go down due to baserunning. If you are going to bring in a baserunner, they should just be using one of the available position players since they don't have to worry about him pitching the next inning.

I was simply explaining to you that you misunderstood the PR box. I'm never really happy about pitchers pinch-running. But, with a limited bench, it happens.

Some people would probably still complain about wasting a position player. I think I would have preferred that the sim use the guy who would pitch next as the PR. That way no one gets wasted.

Thats also unrealistic as that guy would be busy warming up in the bullpen. Plus, odds are that in this same situation with most major league teams, unless it was a late inning situation, another SP would be used as the PR.

I highly doubt most teams would bring in another SP. I think it would be more likely IRL MLB that teams would bring in a pinch runner and then have a long reliever pitch the 2nd inning. I guess thats my problem, I'm looking at it from a real life perspective and WIS only uses the "that's how it done in real life" approach when it suits them

No you're fine. Maybe I wasn't clear. None of my pitchers have the "PR" box checked. I didn't want the SIM pulling my pitchers out to have someone run for them, but if a guy gets injured then I suppose someone has to come in and run. I never thought about it before that game, but afterwards when I thought about it, it made more sense to me to have either a position player run for him or whoever is going to relieve him in the next inning

The ticket is still open as they have yet to answer my last response. They inquired as to my player rest settings, I furnished the info and have yet to hear back.

On a different note, an IFA just signed with me for $15.5M and said that he did the math and it works out to half a million seasons of HBD. He was excited because he said he loves that game

We should have 50-man rosters so that this never happens again!!!
