My sim Mgr removed my pitcher with 2 outs in a game in which he was pitching a no-hitter. A reliever closed it out. What a jerk! Anyway, isn't a no-hitter worth credits or something. How do I go about letting WIS know?

you can let them know by changing your max pitch count.

I believe their preferred method of notable HBD achievement notification is via Western Union singing telegram, sent to:

I think this is right (the telegram part, anyway. Singing might be overkill.), though I'm not certain a near no-hitter is significant enough to warrant the telegram. If the SP had actually finished the no-hitter off, then I'd agree telegram is the way to go. Combined no-hitters aren't as impressive.

All this was VERY helpful. About par for the course for the forums.

What did you expect from a look at me thread torrone? If you have a guy throw a perfect game we may be interested. I believe there have been a few of these no-hitters with more than one pitcher so I doubt there will be any reward coming.

it's more than that. if WIS forced pitchers to exceed max pitch count for no-hitters, it would be awful.

Not credits, just Brownie Points. Congrats.

While you're sending that ticket to WIS support, you might want to copy Preston Gomez...

I'm not sure why this is a 'look at me' thread, gris? You know I don't need that kind of validation. I was looking for some feedback on sim mgr decisions involving a situation like this. In RL, there is no way a mgr would pull a ptcher with 2 outs in a no-hitter unless he got hurt or asked out. Why here? Just because he reached his pitch count? Obviously game situation seems to not be a consideration.

I don't think so. It's not like no-hitters are an every day occurance. I don't know how they would code it to have the sim mgr take notice of the fact that no hits have been given up and therefore ignore pitch count at least until a hit is given up. A RL mgr would have been crucified for pulling a guy with 2 outs .

don't set max pitch counts, then. i'd be livid if my pitcher went past his count just because he hadn't given up any hits. they're on pitch counts for a reason.
