Home for 2 weeks from Christmas Exodus from basic.

I have missed WIS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much.

Whats new with WIS and everyone else?

BTW Basic is pretty awesome..

Since when are recruits allowed to go home for Christmas? When I was in basic training, I was there for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. Of course, this was in 1986.

My brother was able to go home from Xmas like 4-5 years ago when he signed up. They gave him like 400 bucks and told him to find his way home. He ended up on the greyhound for a few days and I think even got stuck in Denver.

okay indians ...

I've heard about how much you can't stand midwest weather ... which weather is worse now? Did you get any snow in Fayette-nam?

and because I know it might get answered here ... what happened to uchuskies?

UGH missouri sucks weather wise. Basic has been pretty awesome so far. 2 more weeks until i graduate then 6 weeks for AIT in missori also.

Out of the 200 guys in my company, only 12 got expert marksman, and i am one of them!

BTW no snow in fayetteville, although it did snow in raliegh when i was landing last night.

indians ... we both know of a certain someone (z, mlats, and many many others would surely agree) who would be a great target for further practice of that expert marksmanship ... you know you have to keep the skills up while you're at home

when you get back into "action", maybe we can send you somewhere important and bring home a UN staffer or maybe one of those "take our guns away" control-freaks

(yes, I'm betting the sound you just heard was the crinkle of lightweight aluminum/tin and the plop of multiple Lumbricus Terrestris)
