WIS needs to make an iPhone app...it would make recruiting so much easier..not to mention game planning on the go...

I know WIS has mentioned that they are working on a mobile page, I don't think an App is in the works tho.

Don't think its personally the best use of their time unless it came back that 80% of the users use the IPhone. I think making the pages mobile internet approved is the best way to go and then it would work with anyone mobile cellphone that has internet.

As opposed to what? A non-mobile cellphone?

I never completed my thought, not just any cell phone, but any cell phone carrier. Lol, something came up when I was typing that so never really finished my thought.

Iphone= ATT, which to most is a horrid cell company compared to other options out there (I have US Cellular and even though the Iphone is cool I could never switch to the glitchy and pricy ATT around my area just for the Iphone)

By far the best. Nice Choice! I have an HTC Touch Pro 2 through them and it works great with WIS as is.

Sprint and Tmobile are just about as bad as ATT when it comes to reception. All my friends that have either have Island coverage.

ive got a blackberry on verizon and it works okay for most stuff... especially just veiwing like playby plays and checking scores, etc. have not used it much in recruiting. as i recal...l i did get it to work with recruiting, but could be improved.

i hate verizon, by the way, hate them with a purple passion. thier coverage is fantastic, though. im not sure any of the other carriers have good coverage out here in the boondocks. i have wanted to switch, but if you dont have coverage.. does anything else really matter?

i know they have beaten the "map" thing to death, but from my experience, it is true and it is important.

why do i hate them? awful customer service and too dang expensive, .... sometimes it feels like they are not even trying. its as if they are saying "hey, you know our coverage is the best. we know our coverage is the best .... why should we work on our customer service or improve our pricing? like you are going to take your business elsewhere? hahahaha. shut up and take a number... we'll fix your phone when we get to it"

the only company with worse customer service than verizon is vonage.

at least at verizon they speak english.

Verizion and US Cellular have identically coverage, although the 3g coverage is different. USC is #1 or 2 in coverage in every market that they are in.

So to answer your question: No it doesn't matter if you don't have any coverage but you are only going to get worse if you switch to Sprint/ATT/T-Mobile. I don't know who it is that you were thinking of changin' to tho ole d.

(Side note: I hate V too and enjoy texting my friends who have V because they have to pay for every incoming text. I consider V to be the Walmart of the cellphone world)

i was wondering what the heck you were talking about...

i have never heard of us cellular (0ther than the ballpark in chicago if thats still what it is called)

good reason why. closest store is 212 miles away.

when i look at thier map from a distance, it looks like they cover the whole country. but on a closer look you realize that huge chunks of the country "partner coverage- strength varies". have no clue what that means

what is "mobile to mobile"? one map says "unlimited mobile to mobile calling" but the only places where that is available are chicago and oklahoma and a couple of other places you never heard of.

yeah, zee, i think i really only have 4 options.

the big Vee

ATT

Sprint

Tmobile

...

i said i was "thinking of" switching...

and when i looked into it--- ATT, sprint and Tmobile have crappy coverage. hmmm, lemme see, i guess i'll pick verizon. yeah! another "satisfied" customer!

The biggest thing that USC has that others do not is that anything incoming is free.

the other big thing is that verizon to verizion is free.. i dont know why usc treats that as some kind of "feature" i thought that was a given.

but still, verizon sucks

They really don't, it comes with almost every phone plan except the very minimum and even then it is only a few extra bucks a month to add.

Like I said above, anything incoming to USC is free which is very nice.
