Welcome to Sim League Live Survivor II
So we have suddenly arrived at the final 5 and it is time for signups for the next go aorund. This one will not beggin untill the first version is complete.
Survivor will challenge your abilities to manage live games, pick quality teams, manage under unusual constraints and being able to work as a team with others.
I will run the game and will not participate. My judgment will be final on all disputes.
To run this game we need at least 16 participants (up to 24 this time) who will be able to play one live exhibition game a week between Tuesday and Friday. It will be up to you to coordinate with the person you are playing. A non play will result in you or your team having to vote someone off.
Please note the days and time frames are approximent. We found in the first one that it just worked better that way.
1) Sim League Live Survivor has two types of immunity: Challenge Immunity, and Hidden Immunity. Their uses are explained below.
2) Each Monday I will post a challenge and each team or player (pending on where we are at in the game) will have about 24-36 hours to submit their chosen team and what ever other requirements are set forth.
3) Games will be played Tuesday-Friday. Once a winner has been declared the team who is voting a player off will have until Sunday evening to submit their vote. Once I receive your vote via SM you cant change it.
4) If you win Immunity You may transfer Challenge Immunity (this can only be done once we enter the individual section of challenge immunity, not when it is tribe vs. tribe.) You must transfer this immunity in the thread for all to see. It can only be transferred by the person who won it. So if Person A wins it and gives it to Person B, Person B cannot then give it to anyone else.
5) There likely will be hidden immunity idols throughout the game. I will notify you when you have found one. You can pass the hidden immunity idols from person to person, but you have to tell me who has them. You cannot hand it to someone and say I give it to them for one day. You give it to them, or you don’t. If you give it to them, and they later choose to give it back, that’s great, but you can’t stipulate before you hand it to them.
6) If you have a hidden immunity idol, you will be able to paly it while we are making our votes. You must site mail me that you are using it, and I will reveal it when it is time to read the votes. If you moved it and didn’t tell me, I won’t recognize you playing it. I will simply announce that person does not have an idol. If you play it, any votes against you will be thrown out and the rest of the votes will be counted with the top vote getter being ousted.
6a) If you do not play the hidden immunity idol, and you get the most votes, you are out, and the immunity idol goes home with you. I will not announce to anyone that it has disappeared.
6b) The hidden immunity idol can take you no further than the Final Four. You can’t play it if there are less than five people in the game.
7) When we have expulsion votes that you are involved in, you must vote, and you may not vote for yourself. If you miss two votes in the game, you are out. Even if you have immunity, if it is your second missed vote, you are out.
8) During the tribe section, we will have tribe captains. These captains may be chosen in any range of ways but several times we will vote on them.
9) I have the right reserved to throw in some twists along the way, so don’t get too comfortable. If you see a question that you need clarified now, please let me know.
A few other notes:
I do plan on traveling to both Vegas and Florida over the next two months. While I do not anticipate this effecting the game at all it may cause a short delay if I am gone for a day or two.
I will take up to 24 signups this time around but it may not be the first 24 in. I would like to have a mix of both new players and returning players.
