This question can not be answered since you have given us nowhere near the correct information to answer it with.

If he is showing up on your recruiting search list, yes. If not probably no, although you should send out some letters and offer a scholarship to see where he stands. If he doesnt reject the ship offer you have a shot.

What else do you need...he's a D1 recruit.

You continue to throw around overall as if that tells us anything about the recruit. It tells us nothing.

and yet, Z, the question is answerable, and mmt answered it. though i would add a simple phone call will tell you whether he can be pulled down or not.

From Savannah, GA, you're probably too far away from any international (Canada/Mexico) to spend enough on evals. If you have a lot of scholarships ($), you might be able to, but it is probably not worth the risk of trying to pull him down. You won't be able to afford to battle for him, so just wait and see if he drops after signings start.

He didn't really answer it he said maybe. I guess if that is an answer then sure but he said maybe if this that or that then yeah maybe.

A combination of mmt and geoff's answer will do the trick.

First, you need to call seeing if he can be pulled down. Then, it probably won't matter because it will be too expensive.

Could it be done? Probably. But you would likely be sacrificing the rest of your class.

You cant call because the recruit is an international. Its why I didnt factor it into the equation. Also, the scholarship only costs 100.00...rahter than get a potential mixed message the scholarship does the trick in one shot. If he rejects it, there is no way (atleast in my experience but truthfully its been awhile since Ive recruited below DI) he will consider you, if he doesnt reject it you will be a secondary option later in the process.

Yeah exactly. You are right mmt and I didn't mean to say you didn't know what you were talking about. My point was colonels didn't have enough information to get a yes or no answer to his question. And IMO that is why the question couldn't be answered.

If you call the coach, you can get the same back-up or go to hell message. And internationals are definitely NOT too expensive to recruit at the D2 level. I do it all the time.

And Colonels, quit worrying about overall rating when you recruit..........

By the way, if this is SG Abdelmuti you're talking about, based upon my experience, he's probably going to be out of your reach.

Call the coach, get the back-up message or not. MMT, don't tell me you've been wasting 90 bucks offering a schollie to find out the same info a coach call will give you?
