Okay if anyone wants to talk about any of the goings on in the first Survivor here is the place.

I would also like some feed back, was it too easy or too hard to find a hidden idol? Your thoughts on the Survivor Auction...

Anything else you want to chime in on?

lol...I never saw any of the clues for the idol...staind did tell me one of the clues was something about the 70s and New york. I then went and said the answer was Reggie Jackson. staind then went and found the idol. Did my finding the idol for staind change anything in the game??? Who knows the answer to that one...

I found an Idol and to be honest Knee it wasn't easy it took some time and research I would say you got it just right ... Too bad I am such a sucker and never used it lol

During the game there will be chances to find hidden idols at a moment in baseball history. For instance there was one found last game when Reggie Jackson hit his 3rd home run in a world series game. I will explain them more when we get to that point in the game.

Thanks foolish, and thanks again Knee for all the time. Winning's nice and all, but this is really all about the fun of playing and I'm most glad just to have been able to keep playing through to the end.

Turning point in the game in my opinion.

Yes It was I actually felt like I had a chance to win Everything was going well. When I started I had only hopes but was gaining confidence like hey I could actually win this thing. I take it as a sign others felt the same that's why I was conspired against I wouldn't turn on my closest ally and was overconfident and didn't use the idol and bam CYA I was gone ! I made many new friends ( yes you too Soxy! ) which was the best thing of all and can honestly say this was the most fun I had on this site in 7 years I been here

.. I can already tell...after reading some of this thread...and through the 1st challenge of the new version...knee has created something great here...

Okay so since Staind and foolish confirmed they found idols I found it interesting that in all the trips to Exile Island no one ever searched for the 3rd idol. I did not give out a single clue for it.

The other two were found in the Reggie Jackson Home Run and Rickey Henderson's record breaking stolen base.

I agree with kneeneighbor that foolish finding the idol was the turning point. Announcing that he had it made it logical to convince him he was safe and get him out before he could use it.

I know the answer. Yes.

I didn't vote against staindman based on his voting me out; he played that well, and I knew I was in trouble when he said "the plan was to vote for delta" not "I" or "we are voting for delta."

I was clear that to me outright lies were unacceptable. So it was staindman twice telling me flatly that he did not have the idol -- and that Jackson's 3HR game was one of his incorrect guesses -- that decided my vote. Without that whopper, I think in the end I would have given staind credit for playing the game well to get rid of me and voted for him to win. staindman fessed up to two or three other lies he told others, but that was the only one he told me. Without it, he'd have won.
