Does anyone have enough money to pick a quaility player or is everyone going to pick scrubs?

i drafted some guys with flexability so i can use their crappy season if I see a gem

Since I had the number 5 pick, I saved between 2M and 6M to play depending on how much I compromise on the rest of the lineup. Either way, I know I've already made lots of mistakes

ya live & learn... I lost my *** off my first 30 teams or so... I was playing stupid OPEN Leagues before I found progressives & the wonderful world of LIVE play. Since then I've somehow managed to win 21 of these World Series bracelts... still waiting for the $10 million check from the hot girls in bikinis though....

(Though I must confess, most of the Wins came in progressive Leagues where you can build around a few seasons and just have to beat up on the other 5 or 6 good teams that year instead of a field of 24 crafty gentleman like you all)

One of the coolest things WIS has taught me is the history of the game... I had hardly heard of any of the old timers before I started playing in Leagues with them & drafting 'em myself...

I'm in the same boat as verynice...got some flexibilty... but @ 20th, probably not overly optomistic that I'm gonna get the guy or 2 I have targeted...

My fear is that if we do this thing off the clock it may take a week or more... Hell, by the time this League starts, the Senate may be holding hands, singing Koobaya and passing some of the 290 bills the House passed last year before we start this thing, lol... But the way the Senate GOP has painted themselves into a corner I doubt anything constructive will come out of them this year either... Let's get this ***** rolling and PLAY SOME GAMES !!
