No wonder FDU sucks. They've got guys who stopped being relevant and funny around 2000 as their coach.

Also, you're missing St. John's and their Steve Lavin hire.

Jerome Allen? Former player?

Why was Tom Penders let go or did he leave on his own.

Yes, Jerome Allen was a 2-time Ivy League POY at Penn. His first press conference was very emotional; he grew up very poor and is grateful for this opportunity

Tom Penders had a 'forced' retirement. Apparently, the decision was made even before Houston surprisingly won the C-USA tourney

Dave Dickerson out at Tulane. I'm a Maryland Terp fan and he was on the team when they won it all in '02.

Thanks...I've added Tulane, as well as Holy Cross and Howard.

Sean Kearney at Holy Cross only lasted one season. He'd been an assistant at Notre Dame before coming to Holy Cross. They finished 9-22, a school record for losses.

Why go from Wisc GB to Toledo? Toledo is shady...

That was my thought, too. Green Bay is a more prestigious job. When asked, Kowalczyk said, "location, campus, resources."

Toledo has one of the nicest arenas in the MAC. At Green Bay, he was paid, $133,000. Toledo is giving him $280,000.

Kowalczyk is a Green Bay native, too. Interesting about his contract with Green Bay. There wasn't a buyout clause. But, if he went to a BCS school, or Conference-USA, they must play 2 gamesin Green Bay within the next 5 years.

Good for Jerome Allen. Class guy, I hope Penn works out for him.

All I know is that if you are a coach for Boston College you better not even read the want ads; don't go near monster.com; and don't even go in a Mickey D with a help wanted sign in the window. If you do you will probably lose your job.

I didn't realize Houston had hired James Dickey over Billy Gillispie (as rumored). Dickey is a proven cheater both with Eddie Sutton at Kentucky and then on his own at Texas Tech. He is the epitome of bad reputation.

The list has been updated to reflect:

Oliver Purcell going from Clemson to DePaul;

Ed Conroy going from Citadel to Tulane;

Steve Donahue going from Cornell to Boston College

Dan Hurley going from St. Benedict (NJ) H.S. to Wagner

Sam Houston St. promoting their asst. coach, Jason Woote
