Newbie - What should I read? Topic

I'm about to start my first HBD season after several years playing HD and SLB on a couple accounts.

Instead of asking a bunch of newbie questions off the bat, could someone please point me to the most valuable reading material to get started?

Thanks

I always thought it was Playboy if you're looking to maximize 2B, Hustler if you want to maximize 3B.

So Hustler = Petco and Playboy = Fenway?

at risk of ruining a thread with a fun twist. read the mentor thread and talk to one of them.

Careful with the superlatives there, sergie. "Best thread ever" should probably have more than 8 posts.

I was looking at the mentor thread but it is dated along time ago and asumed it was outdated.

WKRP RADIO (HOW TO REBUILD A DISASTER). You will find it further down in this forum!

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll take a look at the WKRP thread.

I've tried reading the other publications suggested, but found that long-term, they only reduced my ability to score.

Reading the other publications only improved my stroke.
