hey, I went to Douglas Freeman High School.

Wow, see this is the time where you gotta think that you could go out into the school and talk to a random student in real life and get someone better. They might not be great shooters but for a backup all you need is speed and ath.

Personally I know even at Wisconsin a D1 high level school they have walk-ons that by junior or senior year end up being an important part of the offense.

I think we need to have 10-15 options to choose from that are in line with your teams actual level of play. I mean a walk-on at Wisconsin probably will be just as good as a Freshman scholarship player at a D- school.

I do feel though at least at D2/D3 there needs to be a lot better players that walk-on. There needs to be a 1/10 chance that the player can actually be signed onto the team and being useful over the course of his last 2/3 years.

Ya right not with that speed. lol, you might laugh but I ran on a scholarship D1 for XC and its pretty damn hard. I think your thinking of the basketweaving team.
