One day into the jobs process in D1-Allen the current fill rate is:  37%

Big 6 fill rate:  88%, 63 of 72 spots filled, no conference with less than 9 human-coached teams
Mid-Major fill rate:  30%, 25 of 84 spots filled, only one conference more than half full (MAC with 7), only one other conference more than 1/3 full (A10 with 4)
Low-Major fill rate:  17%, 31 out of 180 spots filled, two conferences with 5 (Big Sky, NEC), no other conference more than 1/4 full, four conferences completely empty

Ive dropped 4 teams due to this crap and may actually drop my final 2.  The only thing keeping me is mentoring some noobs.  Even then its tough to explain why a guy fouls out when he shouldnt or why the guy who has 35% of the distro with great stamina and has 0 fouls shoots 15% of the shots?  lol gotta love the crap not

I know what you mean Girt. I e-mailed him via admin (Main dropdown tab/site usage/feedback) the other night and suggested he look at "A group effort to get more people to play HD" post in the hopes of him looking at the recruiting situation.

If another business was run like this, they'd be bankrupt by now.

Seble, show us some love, we need a little TLC! Ignoring us and not hearing from you makes everything much worse. Hearing from you consistently makes it better!

Gentlemen, it is FAR too much to ask for the guy running the game to pop in and answer the occasional question in the forums, or even to let all of us know periodically what the future of HD holds.  What were all of you all thinking?

Uhhhh, okay, if you say so.  But hey, that's your story, stick to it!! 

I mean, seble's last post on his "development blog" was Nov. 22. There have been wars fought in less time than that.

How hard is it to stop in here, say, once a week and throw us a friggin' bone? It doesn't have to be earth shattering stuff -- just enough to say, "Hey, I know you guys are here, haven't forgotten about you, this is what's going on".

And there are so many little tweaks and improvements that they could be make in a day ... seble just doesn't understand what a long way those would guy. Pretty mind-boggling, actually.

while i agree that seble should put in time in the forums i think that like 60-70% of the complaints on this forum are bogus and trying to "fix" them all would make the game worse. i'm actually a little bit worried that he has already done too much of that.

I'm never one to be a WIS apologist, but for those of us who complaing about HD just be glad we don't play Gridiron dynasty.   Just take a visit over to their message boards and you will realize how good of a job Seble has done here.

Yeah, that game was totally and completely destroyed.  They would have been better off leaving it the way it was.  But those guys kept begging for an update, and then they got it, and it was a nightmare.

seble doesn't run GD, jconte does.  FWIW, I enjoy HD as is...I understand you guys have your issues, but I think the game is fantastic and I was an admitted hater when the recruits changed, but I've gotten used to it.  I guess I'm not really hard to please.
