yeah, agree, with all the stuff that's been discussed here on the forums, to see this (and to a lesser degree, situational logic) as items at the top of the list just seems superfluous. Stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. Would it be worthwhile? Possibly, but at what cost? Without a doubt the formulas will get passed around and it does resemble a bit of spoon-feeding, though I admit to keeping spreadsheets and doing something similar in the past, pre-potential.
Fix recruiting (recruit generation, regional dependence, that damn first cycle ball-and-chain), tweak jobs, and fix the high FG%/3FG% for starters...then work on the cosmetic stuff. People are already using Excel to tweak the ratings to their liking, and good for them. It shows initiative and passion, though I know this approach has its detractors. But to put it in the program, that seems like overkill a bit, esp. when there are more pressing macro issues.
