You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, Know when to walk away and know when to run.
Would an 'average' b+ prestige be able to compete on even ground with an 'average' a+ prestige?
In other words, say I am going for someone 70 miles from me. I am a b+. What range would the a+ school have to be at in order to put my b+ on equal or greater footing? (Not counting exigencies such as total funds available); presuming similar warchests?
I already know pretty much how additional distances effects my costs for various recruiting tools. . .but how much does prestige multiply those efforts? Trying to get a bit more systematic about being able to figure out who I can and cannot afford to challenge for a given recruit.
