Okay, the results are in and the two teams from each category that are eliminated are:

1917-1932:
Chicago Cubs - 3
Brooklyn Robins/Dodgers - 5
 
1933-1948:
 
Chicago Cubs - 3 (commish call - I think if you get the Dodgers, you can build a more satisfying team than you can with the Cubs of this era)
Cincinnati Reds - 4
