In they're on the 40 and in the minors on a minor league contract, they will roll to the next season on another minor league contract.
But this is not the case if they are arbitration eligible, right? I've got guys that are showing up on the arb report for next season that are at the minor league level and that are on the 40.
If they are indeed arb eligible next season, then they'll be arb'd.
The arb report is sometimes misleading. It will show guys as being arb eligible next season under the assumption that they will have accrued enough ML service this season to put them over 3 years. If they are in the minors, on a minor league contract, on the 40, and have not accrued 3 seasons of ML service time, then they'll renew on another minor league contract.
