Best d-2 guard ever?? Topic

I signed him a couple seasons ago. He is a JR. now. I don't think I have seen a better guard at D-2. Plus he is only a jr. and will continue to get better. I will repost everything once he gets to the end of his sr. year.

Depends.  Where does he have potential left?

he was high high in Ath, spd, def, bh and pass, just high in per

Depends on what you value, I guess, but i would say definitely not.

let me know where he gets drafted...if it beats #33 then he's better than my best - Alvin Keegan.

kind of hard to compare drafts across different seasons, just as its hard to compare players across different seasons and worlds....but with the changes in recruiting over the last couple seasons that will probably be one of the best D2 guards, if not the best, that we will see from here on out.

now i dont think a D2, even at A+, could get a player like that to talk to them.  if i recall correctly (i was one of the D1's that tried to get him) he was ranked somewhere like 240 overall if not higher....and had a positional rating of like 30.  those guys dont talk to D2's anymore....

now with all this said, i love this guy that i picked up 2 seasons ago in iba http://whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1783214 ...he actually rates out higher than Harvey (he has improved 261 points in 2 seasons plus 2 offseasons) and still has at least 1 high high (LP) that i haven't even started putting any minutes into yet...but i still think i'd trade him for Harvey in a second to have a guy with that speed and ath

yeah, I'm gonna miss those days. Here's my current guard

Those are both great guards...I guess ill have to just wait and see. He still has alot of room to grow still I think. I just wanted to see what other guards there were out there and how Harvey compared.

haha my guy can't be considered great until he shoots better than 40% from the field with a distro of 4 :D

I think Harvey will be the best because he's an elite defender to go with whatever offense as well as heaving nearly perfect speed/ath combo. He's got quite a bit of improving left as well, that's why I think you should have waited until at least after this season to make this thread.

I'd put my current PG up against him. Not sure he's getting drafted though...definitely won't beat #33 dacj!

It'll be interesting to see where you guy ends up morgan. he's a stud!

Holy crap...you're underusing him.

Yeah, as of right now, I would take simpleton's guy.

Allen just had a D2 player drafted 6th.

Morgan's guy having the nonexistant LP/Per hurts him in any GOAT guard convo. His ath/sp/D are absurd but I think I'd take Piccirillo over any of the guards that have been posted. The one big thing that makes me not 100% sure is morgan's guard is a great FT shooter something dac and simpleton's guards are lacking.
